PIERRE IN ROME FOR IAIDO SEMINAR
We are pleased to announce a new event in the Takehaya Dojo calendar of international seminars. Dominique Pierre, president of the Iaido European Federation, IV dan, will hold a seminar in February 2007, on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4.
During the seminar, Iai, Ken-jutsu and Aikiken will be practiced.
All practicians are welcome. Infos available in the PDF leaflet and in the Seminars section.

UPDATE ON CHRISTMAS' SEMINAR WITH BENEDETTI
Shodo seminar with Takada
Stephane Benedetti and his association Mutokukai will organize the Aikido Christmas' Seminar in Barcelona, Spain, from December 26/2006 to January 1/2007. There will be morning and evening classes; on December 31 Etsunen Geiko class and New Year's Eve dinner will take place. Accomodations in the Mutokukan Europe Dojo with sleeping bag at low charge or in hotel with booking. For the New Year's Eve dinner reservation is due in advance. A Shodo seminar will be as well held in the afternoon by Mio Takada, from December 26 to 29. All informations are in the PDF leaflet .

ATELIER OF SHODO WITH MIO TAKADA AT TAKEHAYA DOJO
During the next Shumeikai Italia seminar of Aikido with Stephane Benedetti, scheduled for November, the Takehaya Dojo will organize an intensive Shodo Atelier directed by Mio Takada. Due to limited places, participants must communicate their participation in advance. For all beginners, there will be a basis set on sale. All informations about the lessons' schedule and fees will be published here in the next days. For pre-inscriptions please call the Dojo secretariat (ph.0039.06.36306432 - after 17p.m.) or send an e-mail both to cf@oleoteca.it and takehaya@tiscalinet.it with "shodo" in the subject field.

SPRING SHODO SEMINAR WITH MIO TAKADA
As days pass by, the first Spring Shodo Seminar in Rome is coming our way. The event is organized by Takehaya Dojo and will be held by Mio Takada, well-known shodoka and aikidoka, on March 25 and 26 (Saturday and Sunday). Partecipation is limited to 15 people in order for the teacher to help everyboby as the level requires. To confirm or give the partecipation to the seminar, contact the Dojo - 0039.06.36306432 (past 4,30p.m.). All informations about place and fees are to be found in the PDF brochure.

TAMURA SENSEI IN ITALY FOR THE ANNUAL AIKO SEMINAR
This year appointment with the italian aikido seminar with Tamura Nobuyoshi Sensei will be on March 4th and 5th. Guest of the seminar will be also Kawamukai Motokage. The meeting is organized by Aiko association and will be held as usual at Villa Eur, Roma Eur, Piazzale Champagnat 2. All informations about prices and location are available on the Aiko site, as well as the seminar brochure.

WINTER SOLSTICE: A NEW SITE WAS BORN
One year just passed by since the Takehaya Dojo went online. A site which now lives thanks to the support of a lot of people: those who write it, who read it, those who suggest and give positive critics. So far the commitment has grown too: in order to build a more interesting site. So we thought the time for a change was right. And we chose this day, December 21, on pourpose. Surely with more consciousness then that December 14 2004 when we appeared on the web the first time...2 dates - themselves, with a certain significance indeed.

NEW IAIDO CLASS
A new Iaido Class (the Art of drawing the sword) will be inaugurated at Takehaya Dojo on October 19th. Classes will be held once a week, every Wednesday from 8p.m. to 9p.m. Teaching is based on the Muso Shinden Ryu style, dated back to 16° Century and created by Hojo Jinsuke Shigenobu. AIKIDO IN MONTEFIASCONE
A new Aikido class (the Katsujinken Class) will be inaugurated on October, 3rd in Montefiascone, near Viterbo (Lazio) by Augusto Calandrelli - himself a Takehaya Dojo student. Classes will be on Monday and Friday from 7,30p.m. to 9,15p.m. at the Athlon Power Centre - Località Porticella, Via Campo Boario snc, tel. 0761/820589.
